The mission of the Greensboro Garage is to provide a social and
environmental conscious automotive experience for our customers. Our
philosophy is to treat our patrons with respect, honesty, and
intergrity. Our friends are our customers-new customers become our
friends.
We are quite
involved in the community of the Northeast Kingdom serving on many
boards, civic organizations, and actively participating in town
government and local volunteer organizations.
Greensboro Garage
began as a one bay shop in the fall of 1971 in the small town of
Greensboro, Vermont. At that time we primarily worked on Volkswagons, as
very few shops in the area would touch them. The garage expanded to
five bays and we began to purchase and recondition used vehicles. When
the level of business exceeded the size of the real estate in 1988, we
bought the landmark yellow barn just west of Hardwick village on route
15 as a second location.
We purchase a great many of the cars
for sale from a few dependable colleagues who know our market and travel
south of here in search of vehicles. We also take cars in trade. We
pride ourselves on having a wide selection of superbly reconditioned
previously owned vehicles. Two generations of customers continue to come
to the Greensboro Garage. We usually have a number of 'starter' cars
for the young driver. Come check us out.
